Kow Tham (Mountain Cave) International Meditation Center was developed by Head Nun Mae Chee Ahmon, a Thai Buddhist nun for over 50 years, to provide a place for International travelers to practice Buddhist Meditation.

Meditation is the practice of calming the mind, connecting with the body, and focusing on what is happening in the present moment. For those of us that have a busy lifestyle and seem to think non-stop, a quieter mind can be a great relief.

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful.
